Helen and Raj came in to do a two day collagraph workshop.
Day one was the plate making day, and day two is when it gets messy! Printing from their creations.
Raj is proud of her heritage and culture with a love of traditional Indian classical dance and a passion for colour.
Well, they are certainly colourful, wow! She did an amazing job, so intricate and absolutely beautiful.
Helen takes her inspiration from her love of music and dance. This design was part of a project she did on her graphic design course. It’s based on the New Orleans jazz festival.
I love these, she worked incredibly hard, there is alot of work involved in the making and printing of this plate. It’s fun, with lot’s of character and movement, almost gets your toes tapping!
The ladies both worked very hard and really enjoyed themselves. They cannot wait to come back and are already planning their next work!
