I always enjoy it when Jethro comes in to do some printing. We spent an interesting couple of days together exploring ideas and different techniques.
Jethro uses today’s waste to create prints from objects, turning them into “relics” as if they have been laid to rest and bought up to the surface.
I find his thought process fascinating. He is very adventurous and is always happy to try something new.
The plates and prints are reminiscent of archaeological finds, but with an industrial twist.
I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next…. he’s booked in for another printing session in March, so i will update his results.
We are going to be framing his work for an upcoming exhibition in May, again I will keep everyone informed.
